Flight Control Technology

The new TaylorMade driver comes with a new innovation technology. The major innovation of the R9 series is a feature TaylorMade calls Flight Control Technology (FCT). The technology called flight control technology.

Flight control technology allows you to adjust the loft, face angle, and lie angle allowing eight different club head positions. The flight control technology’s adjustments can change the range of the club by up to forty yards. To make adjustments, you need to loosen the bolt in the bottom of the club head.

Flight control technology bolt is designed to be retained in the well to eliminate the chance of losing it. At the bottom of the sleeve is a ring of small, gear like teeth, which tightly mesh with a second ring of matching teeth within the hosel. You can change the club head’s characteristics (face angle, loft, lie) by loosening the Flight control technology bolt, removing the shaft from the head, rotating the sleeve and shaft into a specified position, then locking them into that position within the head with the Flight control technology bolt.
